First off, why isn't Dallas listed above all the other cities in this section of the forum?
Second, if they aren't going to rank the cities by order of greatness, can't they at least be listed in alphabetical order, putting Dallas second in line? | | | | | Sponsored Links | Premium Members do not see Google advertisements. SIGN UP today and help support our community.

Two thoughts:
They are list in an order; geographically - south to north.

They ARE in order of greatness - just reverse-order. Big cities at the bottom of the greatness scale, and everywhere else at the top. LOL

Well, I won't dispute that Dallas is better than Houston.. yuck.. :P But outside of what we think, the Dallas/Fort Worth forum has the MOST posts, so it seems it's the most popular and it should be at the top.. no? :)

I am from NYC and have the misfortune of living in Dallas for a year. I was later transferred to Houston (which I was not looking forward based on my conversations with many Dallasites). Well, hate to burst your bubble kiddies, while Houston may have it's negatives, the quality of it's residents and the overall friendliness of Houstonians over Dallasites, isn't one of them. The fact that Houston has more of an 'international' vibe than Dallas, more int'l air options (I travel overseas frequently) a seaport, being from NY, that only puts more points on the scoreboard for ol' H-Town. That said, Austin and San Antonio and even Ft Worth blow both cities away, for different reasons .
And yes, the DFW forum gets more action and why is that........? Well, maybe it's because Houston doesn't have another major city sitting on it's doorstep to take advantage of for shear numbers and discard later once the census or other important counts are over and the Metroplex one ups ol Houston. I suspect if the DFW sections were broken up, well.........

Marty | Well, heaven isn't for everyone, I guess. Some people prefer purgatory... I mean Houston. Quote:

Marty | I hardly think we discard Ft Worth in sharing the spoils of the DFW metroplex's greatness. We love and respect it. However, we DO recognize it is DFW and not FWD.

Shouldn't city wars be classified the same category as brand wars?

Shouldn't we be proud that they are both in Texas?

But apparently I should just let the moderators do their thing.

technically, San Antonio has passed up Dallas (proper) in population. DFW is another matter. Most Populated Cities in Texas State (TX) | Localistica.com

I was a 30yr resident of the Dallas area.
I have been in Houston coming up on 13 yrs.
Let the Dallas folks think that it sucks here.
Then maybe they won't come down.
