These are all nice, but the second is especially good -- even the more so because you caught him in flight. I'm envious: I have yet to get one of these guys in flight, except maybe at 100 yards going the other way.

I just love their eyes; they exude purpose and intent.

Thanks Brad and Bruce. This guy did not want me getting too close and the more I tracked him the further he would fly. If I can sneak into one of his spots unseen I might be able to get a better shot but a 500mm would of come in handy today.

Very nice!! I would love to catch one of these guys in flight!! I caught a Egret once, but it didn't turn out too good.
