Late Fall Color - 12-17-2005, 04:05 PM

Taken 16 Dec 2005 - Japanese Garden - Ft. Worth, Tx.

A gardener there told me that the color should be good for another week or two.

Looks good thru your lens Jerry. Cloud cover appears to of helped with the shadows which is a very good thing. Colors look great!

Nice job Jerry. I really like the color, composition, and reflection in the 2nd and 3rd shots. The first shot just seems a little too busy to me but the color is beautiful.

Thumbs up You're Squeezin' The Last Bit Of Color - 12-18-2005, 11:08 PM

this year out of that beautiful place. Good work.

I thought your IR of the young couple was from there.

I hope the gardener's right; I wanna go one last time later this week. I'm on vacation.

thanks everyone, for your very nice comments.

I very much agree about the "busy" look. that place has so many details everywhere you look, leaves, water reflections, trees, etc.

I find it a very difficult place to shoot, especially in sunlight.

Bruce, be sure to go, it is still really beautiful right now, and yes, the "Young Couple" IR shot is from the same visit.
