Cotton Bowl Parade 2011?

I've looked all over- the official AT+T Cotton Bowl Site, the Dallas Morning News and elsewhere on the net and it doesn't look like the parade is going on this year. Have not heard anything on the news about it at all. About.com says it will be on the 31st but i think he is wrong.

Maybe messed up since the game isn't until the 7th so really do you want your marching bands and all that here a week early from the participating schools?

So if anybody knows for certain it would be nice to know.

It had only been resurected a couple years ago and not that great of a parade but the Kilgore Rangerettes are always nice to shoot.

I wouldn't rely on that since the link to the parade site gives a 404 error.
Also Dallas Events - Event Calendar - Find Events All Over Dallas TX shows nothing on the 31st or 1st. (this is the city of Dallas linked official city information calendar of events)

Oh no, hope it's nowhere near Crescent Court. I have to be there for a wedding at 2:30 on Sat. and I have a wedding downtown tomorrow.

If it does go off it always runs down Ross in front of the new Arts area down to the West End so no effecting the other parts of the city.

Looked in the Observer and Quick and neither mentions the parade.

The only mention that I could find are a couple of websites that list events but nothing offical, I could not find anything with the local tv radio stations mentioning it. So I guess it's gone the way of the old SWC and hopes for a winning cowboys season
