The Sallee's are one of the very best, as well as Brooks Whittington and F8 Studios.

Edit: Oh, and duh, forgot Poser...one of my FAVES!

I think the term 'best' is pretty subjective. I think there are a large number of people in DFW with an equal level of technical talent, but it really comes down to style differences.

I definitely enjoy Erik Clausen's work - he's one of my faves.
I am surprised nobody mentioned Stacey Reeves, a bit classic for my taste, but I do thinks she does lovely work.
