These two links show a lot of events listed-you need to double check them since some are not going to happen. The Willie Nelson gig at Gilley's in Dallas is a no go- Willie is in Houston on the 4th and his schedule shows open on the 5th but Gilleys does not show the gig on their calendar and the people who put the event on have a website that is down.

Several events at Fair Park, some in the Tower and Women's Buildings and others in the Cotton Bowl itself.

May have one of the best chances to shoot Pro Football Players is at either Reunion Station for a Dinner or at Monica's in Deep Ellum for a night party.

So I actually had a longer post but the system rejected it for some reason so just check out the two sites above.

Many events on the calendar are dropping ticket prices or offering discount codes on their tickets pages. (PDiddy's at Fair Park is down to $500 General VIP admission from $750 with open bar-almost a steal!)

Ticket prices are coming down, this is a 3 day event inside the cotton bowl-open sided tent (at least that is what they showed on the news today).

Sat-PDiddy event is now $500 for general admission vs $750- larger party packages still the same.

Gene Simmons (KISS FAME) at Fair Park
$475- open Bar and a buffet says it is in the Centennial Hall (Not sure which building that they are calling this but I would bet it is the one across the pool from the Automobile Building.
(On all Fair Park events no mention is made of parking and what that cost will be).

NFL Experience at the Dallas Conveention Center:
Pro players-current and retired giving out free autographs, NFL memorabilia Auction (showed some things on Fox 4 today), all the other NFL things along with a huge store.

Garth Brooks and Jason Witten put on football camp and cheerleading camp for reasonable prices in Dragon Stadium in Southlake from 10am till 12:30 says for kids 7-14
Adults $15 students $10 day of event- a bit cheaper in advance. I guess Garth and Jason will just be milling around on the field along with other celebs.

Jim Carrey announced that he and his wife will be at Pamela Anderson's bash (also saw on the news that at least one website is selling tickets for this one at a reduced price-not the main site).

Don't forget the Stock Show and Rodeo in Ft Worth thru Sat- they sat a new record attendance of 154,000+ last Sat. Some celebs may just go over there to see what it is all about.

I would expect anything over $100 and not sold out to be cutting ticket prices as the event nears.

Heard that the Gene Simmons Party dropped ticket prices to $100.00 right before the doors opened and that he didn't arrive until the party had been going on for 3 hours and that attendance was light.

The event in the tent in the Cotton Bowl was moved to the Colloseum nearby in Fair Park after one of the tents collapsed under the ice and high winds. Also heard that the Thursday show with the Village People there has been cancelled due to low ticket sales. (Confirmed that party is Fri and Sat ONLY- shows Drowing Pool scheduled for Sat) Says parking is $10 in Fair Park and General Admission tickets are $69 now.

Another poster talked about a party at ZOUK with lil John and that it was pretty dead until someone threw several hundred $1 bills on the dance floor.

OH Prince's Party! HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE HOTEL INTERCONTENTIAL on North Dallas Parkway from the tent at the old ReUnion Arena site- per the website- ticket prices still showing full price. Well someone had some common sense!

ALso Slash and USHER have been added to the Half Time Show at the Super Bowl.

Update on turn outs and other things.

Catching the local news it looks like the NFL event in Union Station last night was well attended, dinner and awards ceremony.

Now the Situation (from Jersey Shore) didn't make his gig in Addison though he was in town on Thursday-I think he is supposed to spin Tonight on Main Street in Downtown Dallas.

PRINCE Was a NO SHOW-$1,500+ ticket and his band was there! So the whole gig was cancelled and the people are supposed to get their money back-some promoter really ate a big one there, people found out about the cancellation 5 minutes before the doors were to open!

The Black Eyed Peas/Sports Illustrated Party at Fair Park, invitation only, was well attended and had a lot of VIP's in for it.

Pamela Anderson had her gig but didn't hear much of what went on or what the turn out was and what VIP's turned out for it.

Reporters said that most of the events put on by Promoters vs THE NFL had low attendance unless they were VIP invitation only gigs.
