I'm not sure if it's the one you're talking about, but the only tunnel I know of in Denton near Oak street is actually on Bell Avenue between Eagle and Oak. I don't remember exactly which one it is though. Sorry, it's been a few years since I lived there! I should be there on Friday for a show, though. So if i remember to, i will scout it out for you.

Hi Leslie, thanks for the link. Those canals looks worth exploring but that is definitely not it. haha. A friend of mine had her family photos taken there....I think I'm just gonna go up and down oak street till I run across it!!! She just didn't have a specific cross street and since I'm not from that area I need more specific directions.

THAT is the railroad bridge at FM 156 and Jim Christal Rd, in far, far west Denton. Oak St ends a little ways past I-35W and becomes Jim Christal Rd. But don't go that way. Take U.S. 380 to FM 156.

Here is a map:

FYI, those are ACTIVE railroad tracks and the trains FLY in that stretch, so not only is it trespassing but you could also get hit by a freight train.

Lol, ok, the images you posted look better than the link I gave! I had a feeling what I posted might not have been it.

Actually Leslie, I don't think yours were the location...but I did a streetview of the link David sent and I beleive his location is a definite match....The link you sent most def were intriguing however and possibly worth a day trek to see what one can find.
