Lion Cub Pics - 12-31-2005, 07:15 PM

Made it to the FW Zoo today and had a blast........got to the lions and was asking around if anyone from the forum was there and one lady said she had been asked that several times already so must have missed some people............

Any ways, took pics of the babies and am posting some...

First there was one, then there was two, then three and then all four of them!!!!

I was talking to another photographer and we were pleased to get three of them and when the fourth one went over..............well needless to say, we were very excited!!!! Would have been great if mom had been in that last pic also.

This little one was the last one to join the group and had the look on it's face like "Hey, where did everyone go?"

Rphoto, Rick - Were you there yesterday? I was there from 1:45 - 4:00 with my son and his girlfriend, but the cubs were lying down behind their mother on the higher rock platform.
TexasWolfLady - great pics of the cubs. I really like the one with the log. Sorry I missed all of you.

Hummmmmmmmmmm must have been..........I got there about 11:30ish but by the time I got to the cubs, it was about noonish.......there was a lady there with a tripod and canon20d, I had on a purple top and was talking with that lady a lot. I did not leave the zoo until about 3:30 or so to head back to Canton. I came back through the cubs and they had moved up to the ledge above......

All in all, it was a fun time...........I have not been to that zoo in many years.

I remember that person with tripod, I was with my sisters and their kids (one in stoller). Just think back to the good looking guys you saw and I was one of them.

Debbie, those are cute pics of the cubs. They are so much fun to watch play and rest and play and rest...

Thanks, the cubs were having a blast! They all stopped to look when "Daddy" let out a roar. Too bad they all weren't up there...
