Has anyone here attended the Nikon School before?

There is an upcoming one in Dallas in March I was thinking about going and just curious if its worth the money and/or if anyone from here will be attending?

Yep, been to two of them. Which ones are you thinking of attending and what's your skill level?

Joe,

I'm thinking about taking the Next Steps class. I think you kinda have an idea of my skill level--do you think it's a good use of my time?

Thanks!

When I took it I had a pretty good idea of how to work the camera (D100 at the time). What it gave me was valuable details on workflow processing (including color space and printing) and camera settings. Also, some of the Photoshop post processing techniques were terrific, many of which I still use.

I'd say the classes are for the novice who is comfortable with standard camera practices (aperture, shutter, f-stops, ISO, White Balance, etc...) and wants to expand upon that (color space, sharpening (in camera and USM), RAW, exposure compensation, printing, etc...).

Hope this helps,
