Srini,
Wonderful shots man, love them all... Since you like wildlife quite a bit take a peek at my friends gallery on pbase www.pbase.com/shaner you and him have a lot in common as far as "Having the Eye" for Photography.

Love the clarity in them all and I think my favorites have got to be the Sea Gull and the Couple Walking by far.

Keep up the great work.

Steve

Wonderful set of photos. The color and crispness (did I make up a word?) are unbelievable. They're all great.

Thank you everybody for the wonderful comments....

I guess I need to give you a little more information about the pictures...

Picture 1) The White Pelicans shot at the White Rock Lake, Lens courtesy of Daniel(ZeroEndless). 500 IS 4.0L
Picture 2) The Sea Gull was also at the White Rock Lake, shot with my new 200 2.8L
Picture 3) The Canda Goose was at the Trinity Mills Park in Carrollton (200 2.8L)
Picture 4) Tanya, my daughter, the rail tracks near the Trinity Mills Park (200 2.8L)
Picture 5) This was a candid picture of a couple at the White Rock Lake, shot with the 400 5.6L prime lens courtesy of Daniel(ZeroEndless) again and which is on order, I just loved this lens and will be replacing my 100-400L.

Thanks again.... Srini RR

The goose looks like an early morning shot. But what about the others? Were they also early in the day before the sun came out?

not much to critique on they are all great. DOF is great. Framing is great. Composition is great. Only negative is the tree limbs going through his head but I had to really look to find that because the feeling of that picture make me not care about the silly stuff.
