Is there a Photo Club in town?

I was just wondering if there was a photo club anywhere around the Richardson/Plano area...or anywhere a bit outside that. I'm looking maybe for a monthly gathering, anything really. Just want to get more involved with photography.

Check out Plano Photography Club. They meet once a month, and have many many fun things going on. The next meeting is on Monday January 23, 2006.

Sorry, I don't know of any clubs in Plano area.....

I do want to say that I checked out some of your stuff.
I have not seen a portfolio in a long time that has grabbed my attention as much as yours.
The technique is flawless, the ideas are marvelous.
I will go back and view the rest tomorrow.
They are an inspiration...

The Dallas Camera Club meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday each month. The first Tuesday meeting is their competition night. On the third Tuesday a photography related program is presented to the club members. Refreshments and social time start at 7:00 p.m. The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. The club meets at the Parker Chiropractic College.

i plan on going to the plano club meeting in jan if you would like to meet there (not necessary just come as a guest to any meeting) the meeting place is close to park and coit and I believe this is the largest club in the area now. email me for phone number if interested.

Clint - I just looked at your gallery and I agree with Tom. You have some fantastic shots that are very creative. I especially love the shot of your friend "playing" pool. Great shot setup on that one.

Thank you both...Tom and John...for your more than kind words about my work. I am going to try and make the Plano meeting this month on the 23rd. Thanks to all that have chimed in and offered their help. I might go to more than just the Plano one if I have enough time.
