That's a great idea! Maybe TPF can become TPF School of Photography

I willing to try it out!

I used to do just that. Back in the old days of film and other smelly stuff.
My schedule is so whacked out right now that I couldn't possibly commit to anything.

I hope there is someone here who wouldn't mind throwing their expertise out there for the benefit of others.

You might also try one of the photography clubs in the area.

I'd be willing to drive to Dallas for a beginners class. I'll take help in anyway or place I can get it ! The Club deal really works. I joined a club in Shreveport last Thursday and in just one night I picked up a ton of helpfull info. Every member there was willing to help answer any questions I had and explain stuff to me. We did a lot of descusion on composition, something I really need help with. I even had three different member offer to help try and recover my cruise photos from the microdrive that went belly up, and this was the first time these folks have ever met me, talk about friendly and helpful, just like on here! A club is worth every cent of the dues. You will learn, meet new friends and have loads of fun.
