Swift @ Co. Meatpacking Plan in Stockyards to be demolished

This is a discussion on Swift @ Co. Meatpacking Plan in Stockyards to be demolished within the Dallas / Fort Worth forums, part of the Texas category; I am a bit sad to learn that the famous plant will be razed. The buildings are fascinating for sure ...

I am a bit sad to learn that the famous plant will be razed. The buildings are fascinating for sure and popular among local photographers.

I am wondering if there will be a sudden influx of photographers trying to get there while they can? I have been a littel leery of going there with an expensive camera and lenses. I have been there before about 8 years ago, but it was without equiptment.
