N. Dallas Lunch on February 2 - 01-26-2006, 09:59 PM

Several people in N. Dallas said they would like to get together for lunch, so let's shoot for next Thursday, February 2nd somewhere in Addison!

As for the time, I would recommend an EARLY lunch as Addison restaurants fill up extremely fast at lunch, so let's shoot for 11:30 am.

Suggestions for a place to meet? We will take everyone's recommendation and see where people want to go?

My suggestion is Champps Sports Grill just West of the Tollway on Beltline. Lots of big tables and a varied menu so that everyone can find something they like. Other thoughts???

I can't afford it, but Tejas de Brazil is a serious weakness of mine.

Oh, is Champps really expensive? I've never been there, but I don't consider Tejas de Brazil inexpensive, so if Champps is more than that, don't know that I can do that either. I'm on my own soon, so I have to really watch the money.

Very tempting... especially as it is just up the road from my office... but I'm entirely new here, and to photography (well sort of), and along with my work load, it might be a stretch. Would love to try though.

Will you guys be the easy ones to spot with the big lenses? ;)

I can't do that 'cause I have a little one that will be home on that day; so, I will have to get a babysitter, and then I have to p/u kids.

No, Champps is not expensive.. I was throwing out TdB as a suggestion also, even though I can't afford it. :)

I'm good with Champs, but I fighting a serious longing for some gaucho style bbq.

BJ's brewhouse is next door too. There's also a Blue Goose not far and I LOVE their pork tenderloin fajitas. The rest of the menu ROCKS too. It's about $10/plate max plus drinks.

I'm OK with where ever you guys want. Even Hooters (blah food) .
