Nice shots. I like the angle you got on number five. The bald eagle is always a good subject. Meercat looks like it's trying to stay warm.

Good work... I couldn't get the bald eagle to cooperate the day I was there. The zoo is a great place to shoot, especially during the winter when other subjects aren't quite as photogenic. What equipment were you using and at what settings?

Nice shots. What set up were you using because your pictures look alot more colorful than mine. Also did you use sRGB or Adobe?
Here are some of mine from Wednesday, all taken with 20D, 70-200 2.8L, 2x Extender, Monopod:

Thanks everyone. All were shot with Canon 300D the 70-200 f/4L (some in my gallery http://www.pbase.com/beetlepic/fwzoo2 were shot with the 50 f/1.8) in RAW. I spent a lot of time in my "digital workflow" getting the colors as I like them. I figured everyone would say the look dark, which is my usual response at first, but I guess that it what I like. I typically work is sRGB. I have found that when I do print most labs (that I know of) use sRGB and posting to the web requires sRGB, so I don't see what Adobe RGB has to offer and from what I have seen working in Adobe and converting to sRBG just doesn't work too well for me. One thing I have found in working on the colors is using the selective color under Image>Adjust. You can really fine tune the colors and make the image "pop".
