Quite a few people along Greenville ave, not counting all of the people in the parking garages at NorthPark across Central.

I just pulled up Ch8's video on line and they should have shown the shot from the chopper instead of the roof shot from NorthPark 4. Colors seamed off on their video.
That building wasn't even 30 years old, one guy was guessing mid to late 1970's since he had a brother who had an office in it in 79.

View from NorthPark Garage - 01-29-2006, 12:20 PM

Luckily for me the taller/closer tower was full by 7am so I went next door. Good angle on the building and the sun was blocked by the next building to the south. It was amazing how quite things got when 75 traffic was stopped and spectators were awaiting the blasts. I was amazed by how many folks made it out. A couple next to me drove 45 mins.

BEFORE

ABOUT 5 EXPLOSIONS, THE BUILDING SHOOK AND THEN STARTED TO FALL

AFTER ALL WAS DONE THERE IS SNEAK INTO THE RUBBLE

Chach,

That was the angle! I didn't go down there, becuse I didn't know the area well enough to know if I could get a shot like that.

Very nice.

No kidding, with all the shots, I bet we could make a 3D recreation!

I think you'll be OK, they have a thin candy shell. I'm surprised you didn't know that.

Crap I should have checked to see if they would have let me shoot out some of the windows before they blew it! I don't know why but every time I see a building with all those shinny windows my mind starts thinking what it would be like to set back and pop each window from a couple hundred yards with my 22-250. I know, I know .
