It does not open till March and it is patrolled by police right now.. a friend took these...



I plan on going up there in the next few weeks for my own pictures!

Taken on both iPhone 4 and GF-2 14 mm, The exif data has disappeared. Used Eye-Fi to geotag the GF-2.
As I recall the bridge is paralleled by the adjacent Continental St Bridge, farther to the north there is the Wycliff bridge which gives a great distance view with the Dallas night skyline included. These two have very little traffic at night. Then the Commerce Street Bridge is to the south it has heavier traffic and no Reunion Center or skyline. Remeber I am old and forgetful so check your maps first.

Panorama of bridge and skyline - 01-12-2012, 07:17 AM


I have been shooting aerial photographs of the bridge with remote control planes since the arch was in place. Here are a couple of my most recent aerials and a stitched together land based panorama of the bridge from crow park. There are a lot of the aerials viewable from my flickr page.
