I occasionally shoot nighttime firewalking events for a client here in DFW.
This client referred me to another group who is having a 2-day event (Friday, Feb.10 and Saturday, Feb.11) at a resort in Westlake, TX. The coordinator for this 2-day event wants one shooter to cover both the Friday night firewalk and their Saturday night awards dinner.
I am not available to cover the Friday night event due to Sabbath observance, so I'm looking for qualified shooter to take this entire opportunity.
Does anyone else in this market have the
experience and equipment necessary to correctly shoot a firewalking event?
You must have:
- Experience shooting at night (mix flash and long shutter speed)
- Dedicated off-camera flash equipment w/ correct modifiers (I shoot AB's with a large beauty dish for the keylight and smaller 20-deg grid for hairlight)
- Wireless flash triggering
(Sample image attached from the last event I covered)
If you have what it takes to do this, and you're available on both Feb.10 and Feb.11, then please contact me by the forum PM system.
I do not have budgets for either event, but I'll be glad to discuss the fees I typically charge with qualified candidates for this gig.
Thank you.
