How about looking at a quarterly GTG? That way since it doesn't happen quite as often people may tend to make more time for it? There are obviously lots of folks with busy schedules but if you had something to plan for a couple of months out maybe you would see more participation. I know that when I see something pop up within a month it almost always gets lost as my schedule has kind of been formed by then.

Pete you got me thinking...

I like the monthly idea and the quarterly idea.

Example
March - Weekend
April - Weekday
May - Weekend
June - Weekend
July - Weekday
August - Weekend
Sept - Weekend
Oct - Weekday
Nov - Weekend
Dec - Weekend

That way those that can attend monthly on a weekend gig can have the opportunity as well as the weekday folks once a quarter.

Thoughts?

I like your rotating idea.

I can generally be available with advance notice (assuming I'm not sent out of the country on business).

The rotating schedule is great, but I would most likely only be able to make it on Saturdays.

I'm up for it... weekday evenings work best but weekends could possibly work as well some months. The rotating schedule makes a lot of sense.

Would you mind considering Abilene as part of greater DFW? I've been known to
make a day trip out of it. It's about three hours to Fort Worth from here. I consider myself "retired", so I'm flexible.
