February 19-26, 2006 - FESTIVAL - Brownsville: Charro Days Fiesta. Celebrated with a four day Latin Festival each year since 1938, complete with elaborate costuming, carnivals, parades, dances. A program of events is held in both Brownsville and its sister city, Matamoros, Mexico, which demonstrates the relationship between both countries.
