Help! I'm begging to borrow and SB600 or 800 for a wedding on Feb. 18 (next Saturday). I promise to treat it like you would treat it! If possible, I would like it from Thursday through Monday. Thank you, thank you, thank you, if so!!

I've got two of each. If you don't hear from someone local to DFW in the next couple days, let me know and I can UPS whichever you want up there.

Very cool! Thanks! Let me see if someone from Dallas has one, but if not, I'm desparate, so I'll pay the UPS charge! Thanks!!!

Glad you got what you needed, but if nothing else, you just gave me a wake up call to get a spare flash and lens. I have two D70 bodies but only one SB800 and one kit lens. If nothing else, I'll get a SB600 as a backup

Nathan, take it from someone who bought a 600 as a back-up. Spend the money on another 800. The aux battery alone makes it worthwhile, not to mention more power and a few other goodies that you already know about. JMO

Yeah, I know what you mean! I have 2 D70 bodies, 1 great lens, and 1 not-so-great telephoto, and no flashes!! I need to desparately buy a flash or two and a 70-200 f2.8.

I agree, that's why I have two 800s. The 600s were bought strictly as wireless slaves. They obviously would work, but the 800 has a lot more benefit than simply the additional power.

Yeah Bill, I ended up picking up a second 800 also. That's why the 600 doesn't see much duty. I need to break it out more often. The Nikon CLS is pretty cool for porta-studio stuff.
