It's the insignia above the main doors on the Fort Worth Star Telegram (newspaper) Building in downtown Fort Worth.

Amon Carter (1879-1955), publisher of the FWST and prime philanthropist of the city, did not have a high opinion of Dallas and reportedly said that "Fort Worth was where the West began and Dallas was where the East petered out."
