My First Panoramic...Ft Worth - 02-15-2006, 02:53 AM

Here is my first attempt at a digital panoramic shot of ft worth. I learned that next time I will make sure to take more of the sky and ground for 'fudge' room.

I used this "Autostitch" to stitch and a little PP in CS2. The program is available here.

Comments and critiques are always appreciated.

Thumbs up Excellent Pano - 02-16-2006, 05:48 PM

You've done a fine panorama.

I was just over there on the levee yesterday; I had the wrong time of day and haze in the air as well as the wrong lens.

It's quite a stretch to get all the skyline in from that location, isn't it? Here's a shot from earlier for comparison using my kit lens wide open at 18mm. Your pano approach is better because you can reduce the foreground "clutter."
