Talking I need a Canon 20D Tutor (paid) - 02-16-2006, 12:15 PM

I have a Canon 10D and 20D along with a 550ex flash and need intermediate to advanced help on using this equipment to take pictures. I take OK to good pictures but I would like to be able to take great pictures. The kind that need minimal to no PS.

I am willing to pay someone to teach me. If you are interested, please email some of your shots or a web site and what you would charge. I am thinking about on location learning and shooting.

Thanks,
Jim

Why not just come to a get together with a few TPF members and ask a lot of questions?
I would be more them happy to show you what I know<that would take Abbot 5 minutes>but I could not charge. I have a 20d and the 550ex, but just set up a get together and maybe a few of us will show up.
But I think some PS always helps.

I am right there with you... what about a Canon GTG? I am picturing a

-Large room with chairs and tables
-Large mugs full of beer and shot glasses of jager/redbull
-Canon equipment everywhere
-Photographers galor young to old/new to experienced
-Sexy women... ready to strike a pose

I could go on... but I think this is a good start, eh?

We should have a Canon group get together, trade tips and tricks.
Maybe next month? Somewhere between Dallas and Fort Worth.
Does this sound like something people would want to do?

A Canon GTG sounds good. Weeknights/weekends - whatever the group is interested in. I'm game for it. I've had my 20D for a year now, 10D for almost three. I'm still learning - every day, every shot.

I could make it just about anytime under normal conditions and enough prior notification. The closer to Fort Worth, the better. What's central to Dallas, Fort Worth? It's about 45 minutes for me to get to Bass Pro Shops. Don't know why but for some reason I have that one marked for time, not distance. I don't know of any meeting places out that way though.
I could learn from anybody I think.

There's enough of us Canon types.. We should be able to make this work.
