FW ZOO this sunday ?

Well i ordered my new 70 200 VR today it should be in by Thursday i cant wait to go to the FW Zoo anyone up for a meeting ??

Sounds like you've got some good glass on the way. You may want to add a teleconverter to your collection to reach out a little farther and catch those animals that hang back in their pens.

I may be up for Sunday... gotta wait until later in the week to commit. I haven't been out to the zoo for a few weeks, so I'm due. I've got a new lens on order, but I don't think it'll be here in time for this weekend. Maybe I'll get pleasantly surprised!

Pippin I just read your post and I think I saw you. I said hi while we were at the coyote and bobcat site. I had the 300 f/2.8L IS with the camo cover.

There was alot of photogs out there today. I finally got some shots of the cubs.

You folks probably don't know me. I too was also at the zoo this afternoon. Right now I'm still in the watch the lion cubs phase. They grow awful fast and I like to get them before they get too big. Afternoons seem to be the best time for the cubs to be playful. Having said all that, I'll attach one of the better lion shots from today.

I thought I posted some text with this but I guess I didnt, Jim was great to meet ya too, Im sure your blown highlights came out better than mine haha, the last shot of the waterfall I wanted to see how the vr worked and it worked pretty good imo that was HH at 1/20th @200 does anyone see any camera shake ?
