Canon GTG poll

I think there is plenty of interest in a Canon GTG, and the weekend is the best time for most.So here is a poll to see what date is best.
Saturday March 25th, or Sunday March 26th.
I think meeting at about 4:00pm would be good but feel free to give some input.
When we pick the date we will put up another poll to see where we want to meet.

Again, you don't have to shoot Canon to come. There are some very smart nikon shooter that would more then welcome to join us. Then if anyone is on the fence about a brand they can see what each has to offer.

I would like some clarification of what we are meeting about. Is this going to be a skull session about equipment and technique or a show and tell?

If the intent is application them 4PM doesn't give us enough light to explore things. I'm not talking about a shoot around but technique is better explained through application.

I was thinking it would be more about equipment and technique and less about show and tell. You may be right about not enough light. I said 4:00pm but we can meet anytime really.

Are spouses welcome? The 25th or 26th will be here before we know it. Either day is fine with me and any time of the day is good. Equipment and technique is good. We can have another one on show and tell later if folks want to. You really think Nikon folks would want to socialize with us Canon people?

Let's get rolling so we can set up a place to meet.

I was overwhelmed by Nikon folks last night and honestly they are cool people to hang out with... it was weird being amist the other kind at first, but after a few dozen beers it was really cool

Grapevine sounds like a good middle between Dallas and Fort Worth.
If this is good for most people we can reserve a room at one of those places.

Maybe we should start an official pole so there is no confusion. Also bloth places do require a reservation. So by Thursday or Friday we should have our minds made up.
