I am wanting to try shooting some stuff like I posted in this thread http://www.texasphotoforum.com/forum...ad.php?t=18632. What I was wondering is if anyone has access to a model, doesnt have to be professional at all, and is anyone interested in getting together and doing some of this type of stuff. I'm really trying to broaden my interests and be able to shoot anything and everything.

Very cool! There is one girl that I've seen some people use b4 that I think would be great for this. Not sure if she charges, hopefully not. I will have to try and find a pic of her. She has short brown hair, seems young, but she's cute. I would also like to shoot some starting out bands with this kind of look, too.

Basically, I want someone who can have a grundge look and carry it off well. I think she might be able to. Like I said, even members of a band would be cool.

I dont really know of any models off hand that we could use but i would love to come along on the shoot with you guys if you get it worked out.

Here's a girl I took a snap of. Not sure if she'd be interested but I bet I can get hair and probably make-up too if we use her.

The image was an early attempt at cross-processing so it's not very well done but you get the idea.

Cool. Either one of these would be great. Legend, no problem. I've never used models b4, so I don't know how to go about asking them or anything. I want to shoot somewhere neat, perhaps a coffee shop in Deep Ellum as well as an alley or whatever. Pete, that model would work. Definitely want the grunge makeup look. Thanks, Wyatt. Does she charge or can we just give her a copy of our images?

My shots with her were TFP, but that was over a year ago. Her mom does the dealin'. Contact her thru the link above. Brad knows them also, he may have some input. Nice folks.

Thanks, Norm. I actually want to shoot bands not during their venue, but as if we were shooting for an album cover or something.

That is no problem I know a local manager/promoter, that is how I get to know the bands I shoot. Offer still stands, if you want to do something like this I am sure that they will be more than interested.

That's cool. I'll have to find a neat place to shoot them and get some ideas. I'd like a more modern looking band, if possible.
