Now's the time to get out there. The tulips are gorgeous -- along with many other blooms. Two of my favorite pics from today:

Wow, you're right. You can't fake color that good! Nice shots.

Love the second one. Was it too crowded for a tripod? I am going tomorrow and am trying to decide between taking a tripod or using a ringlight flash.

Thanks,

Alan

It was fairly crowded out there on Saturday when I was there but I probably could have gotten away with a tripod in most areas. I just had my monopod with me, which the wife used as a walking stick most of the time we were there due to a foot injury.

It is Spring Break for Dallas Schools, but today I saw a couple of tripods, and two bridal parties; I could have easily used my tripod if needed. Weekdays should be no problem at all.

Those shots are beautiful. I'm going to try to get over there maybe this Friday.

Why would you stay home if overcast? That is almost perfect. When it is bright blue sky, I generally take a diffuser with me and have to talk someone into holding it for me.

Beautiful shots as usual, Bruce! I always enjoy your flower pix.

I went to the Arb last Friday late afternoon and posted some of mine in the Nature & Wildlife gallery.

Me too. Forecast calls for clouds on Friday so that should make for some nice, soft light.
