So the GTG that has been talked about forever is coming up on Sunday the 26th.
Please vote if you plan on coming so we can make reservations. I would to see everyone that showed interested actually show up.

That would be awesome.

Scooby checked out some places for us and I think they are good also.

Some where in Arlington. There are tons of places so if this option is more popular then will just pick a place and make reservations.

The room fee ($50) can be waived if a most order dinner and drinks.
Also a great atmosphere.

This will be a tech talk. I hope to go out after we all talk and eat so we can do some show and tell.
The idea is for anyone that has questions can ask and hopefully be shown how to do whatever it is they are questioning. There are some great people on TPF that know so much about photography so I hope come out and join us.
I have more questions then answers so I won't be much help

Some people learn better seeing something then just reading about it so this can be a great learning experience.

So everyone come out and eat and have a good time.

Please post in this thread if you are coming so we can get a head count.

Well, not a very big group so far. I hope to get a few more people so I could play with a few 580ex and check out some equipment. There was more interest last month, maybe these weekday lunches and dinners are better ideas.
Anyway, here is a bump.

I think some of the problem is the GTG Friday night and then a few of us that would come are going to be in Houston Saturday/Sunday. I am up for those locations, but won't be back in town until later Sunday

B-Day GTG Friday night

this GTG is sunday

my point was that some people might not be responding because of the amount of GTG's this weekend

I'm in for Sunday. Prefer Love and War. If we met at 2, we should be finished by midnight. Easy. Which would mean the last 2 hours would be in the parking lot, so dress warmly.
