This thread will host the information for the upcoming PoloDigital/Greg Daniels Fashion, Portrait and Glamour workshop set for 4/29. There will be a maximum of 12 students.
We will have three models available to shoot. There will be one shooter per set at any one time. Violating this rule will end your day at that point. The last thing I want to do is ask someone to leave, but in order to be fair to all the attendees, that will be the result. As I have said before, if you attend a top name event like a Rolando Gomez, SuperShoots, or Jeff Black Tampa Shootout workshop and violate this rule, you will be out a whole lot more than $240 and most likely won't be allowed to return. Enough about that.
You will be free to shoot each model in every scene and wardrobe set. We will not rotate the models until everyone has had the opportunity to shoot them at least once (if you want, not a requirement). If you want to follow the same model around all day, that is your call. As long as everyone shoots no more than 15-20 shots per turn, it will work out just fine. Just remember, "don't Bogart that model". There will be multiple sets with at least one 'special' piece of equipment that will give you some unique and creative images. A past event included a Profoto ring flash. I'm thinking something different and unique this time. We may choose a new makeup artist that specializes in airbrush application to speed the process along so that your shoot time will be maximized.
Cost for this full day session is $240 including a full release from the models for all images made at the workshop. I will provide a link to the release in a few days as I update the files for this event. Payment will be required two weeks prior to the event to secure your place. I will accept PayPal or checks. More details on payment will be issued via email. Please include your email address via PM to me so I can maintain a contact list.
I will update my workshop web site
http://www.polodigital.net/workshops.htm with the names, portfolio links, and images of the lucky models. Currently I have a commitment from Kelli Cook who you can see on my portfolio fashion page at
http://www.polodigital.net. She is the default image on the fashion gallery. Kelli is a very experienced model who is a blast to work with. I'm sure that Greg and I will choose two more top notch women to fill out the schedule.
