Cynthia, you're "warm," but there are many buildings in downtown Fort Worth which are called "Courthouses." Can you be more specific? For example, it's not this one upon which the "Lady" also resides.

Ohhhh Good question! hehehe I remember seeing it when I had to go out there for Jury Duty but I dont remember which courthouse it was on. I think it was the newer Court house that has the painted facade to look like the old court house.

Well, that's good enough for me. Congratulations! The "Lady" is on the Civil Courts Building on Houston Street surrounded by the Richard Haas Mural designed to look like the older Tarrant County Courthouse which is immediately to the east. Haas also has done the famous "Chisolm Trail" mural downtown and the newer mural on the east side of the Cowgirls Hall of Fame in the Cultural District.

Here's a before and after of the Civil Courts Building. Quite a change. And a full-length view of "Lady Justice."
