Shooting Art at a show like this can get very touchy. More and More artists do not want pictures taken because the vast majority do not show the art in it's best light plus the lighting in the convention centers usually sucks. Also many artists are worried about having their works ripped off, which is kind of odd because the counterfitters can buy the prints and just ship them off to be counterfitted.
A better show to go to though it is a trip is Indian Market or the Eight Northern Pueblos Show which are both outdoor affairs with the artists doing direct sales.
I have not been to this show in a number of years but the last time I went most of the works were more tourist crap than art and the few good artists had prices way above their quality.

There is also a Dallas Indian Market in the Fall, it has been held in the Arts District, Fair Park and Addison over the years I believe the last 2 years have been back at the Arts District in Downtown Dallas where it started. (couldn't find their website).
BTW I love SW Art with Acoma, San Indelfonso, Zuni and other works in my collection allmost all bought directly from the artists. (We have one member here with ties to the 4 corners area and I bet he could tell you the best places to find weavings!)
