I was out at the FW Zoo once, trying to get a shot of a baby orangutang that had gone a few feet from momma and was rolling around on the grass, playing with something (don't remember what)... when this lion roared like he does sometimes..

Boy, that little tyke could run.. right back into momma's arms, who promptly took him inside.

That's funny Brad but it doesn't surprise me too much. Kinda spooky I expect for the little guy.

Keith these were shot with the 70-200 2.8L. Sure glad I got that lens even though at the time I figured I was headed to the poor house for sure.

D'oh.. I forgot to comment on the photos the first time.. was laughing too hard at the memory. :)

I like the second one better than the first.. his eyes are open.. the first one looks more like a yawn to me. :)
