Natural reflecting pool - 03-25-2006, 11:08 PM


Shot at River Legacy Park today, this area is usually totally dry. With the gully-washer last weekend, it created a natural reflecting pool. I wish I could have gotten a different angle, but I was restricted by all the trees and mud around me.

. . . not the living water, but it looks pretty good after our long dry spell. Very nice. I like the reflection.

Thanks, Bruce. Yeah, it was the reflection and the clarity of it that caught my eye. Small pools like this have a specific name, but I can't remember what it is. I think it starts with an E.
