Hey Huck,
I plan on making the Nikon gathering, hope to meet you there..Yes this moving from a point and shoot is some transition.. I shot for yrs with my 35mm K1000 Pentax before digital came about.. Thanks hope we meet soon..

Hey, Sonny, glad to see you here! We seem to have similar taste in cameras. I still have my old Pentax Super Program 35mm and Kodak digital, besides the recently aquired D50.

I don't live to far from you in Benbrook. I just ordered a D70s and am looking forward to using my first DSLR.

Hi Mike,
That would be great, Not sure yet but there may ba a Thai festival in Keller tomorrow (Sat.) I attended last yr. as a beauty contest judge and it is a great time.. Lot's of great food, Thai dancers in their colorful costumes.. So when I find out today I will re-post.. Maybe someone here on the forum knows if it's this weekend.. Thanks Mike.. I only live 15 min. from you.. I would also like to find some D-50 shooters in the south Ft. worth, Burleson, Crowley area interested in joining up for some shooting.. Thanks to all on this forum whom have welcomed me here..
