Brand new member, how do you

This is a discussion on Brand new member, how do you within the Dallas / Fort Worth forums, part of the Texas category; re-size photos here for posting??? I'm a Nikon D-50 shooter and just found this site.. My other galleries re-size them ...

re-size photos here for posting??? I'm a Nikon D-50 shooter and just found this site.. My other galleries re-size them when you upload the photos.. Anyway any help will be greatly appreciated.. Thanks....

Welcome from Austin!

I usually use a link to a personal website or to a gallery web site. If this isn't the case, I resize to about 800x600 in photoshop as a high quality .jpg and then the post is OK for these forums.

I'm between Crowley and Burleson off CR 919.. South of FM 1187...Thanks for the welcome, appreciate it..My mother has a horse farm next door to us... Arabians..Is 731 where the home depot is, I'm only maybe 3mi from there.. Get back to me when you can..Or send e-mail.. Thanks again....

Thanks for the welcome it's nice to have people respond and welcome you in..I know just what you're talking about when you said that about people forgeting more than you know.. I'm in that boat right beside you.. I just bought the D-50 in Nov. and still finding buried menus.. Anyway glad someone at dpreview told me about this site when I started one there asking how many people there were in TX., Whew that was alot, glad to be here.. I know already there are plenty of people that can help me greatly..

Oh, by the way all those photos were taken before I bought the D-50..Just shot with a way outdated Kodak.. Thanks Huck..

We have a lot in common. Before I started using my Nikon I had used a Kodak Point and shoot digital dx6490. Kodak was my 1st and 2nd digital camera before going with the DSLR.
