Need Help!

My nephew has his Senior Prom this weekend and my sister has called and asked me to take some pictures of him in his tux. While I am VERY MUCH a beginner, this is the perfect time to take all kinds of shots of him for practice!! His tux is white and I am going to include his saxophone in some of them just to have some pictures but I was wondering if anyone had any hints they could give me or ideas for poses, etc.

Run down to your Barnes and Noble, or other CD outlet and look at all the album jackets of saxaphone players, jazz groups, etc. Make sketches and notes. Check out the music mags.
Find out what excites you and try to duplicate it with him. Pay attention to the details. Don't have distracting backgrounds, or things growing out of his head, etc.
