I was asked to photograph the gardens in spring bloom by the city...here's a few from a rainy Saturday morning. A lot of the punch in the colors was muted by the conversion to jpg.

Ok I live in Grapevine... I have some senior sessions coming up... can you give me some information on where this is lol and how much it cost to shoot there?

Great shots by the way... really neat processing and compositions

Here's their photographer contract: http://www.ci.grapevine.tx.us/depts/...ercontract.pdf

I can't find the address, but if you are going N. on 121 and exit Wm. D. Tate, keep going across 114, across Hwy. 26, and across the RR tracks, it's on the right. (I think Wm. D. Tate turns into Ball street somewhere along the way).

Lovely photos. I especially like the fourth one. I teach in Grapevine three days a week. Now, I'm going to make a point to stop by here. Thanks.

I didn't know that Grapevine had botanic gardens. Excellent shots. I like the 1st one.

FYI,
The house was once the home of a woman named Bessie Mitchell. While I was CM in Grapevine she passed away and we bought the house and built the botanic gardens. Kudos to Councilman Shane Wilbanks. These gardens were his dream and his vision.

Well, IMO, the Council did a very good thing with this locale. I say again: it's a delightful oasis and a real credit to Grapevine. I was most pleasantly surprised.

Definately Kudos to the City of Grapevine for this lovely place. Just remember if you shoot for commercial reasons you must get a permit. I took this shot of my daughter there.
