Great view and I was really set up and got some decent cloud photos but security came along and thinking I might be some kind of terrorist, told me to leave the property. I'm still mad at them, I wasn't even facing the mall!
Top level in a lightning storm. Hmmm... Since the mall is private property, they likely have a curfew and a no-loitering policy. Security probably figured you fit into one of those two categories. Running you off might have saved your life--you never know. If you'd stayed, you might not be with us today.

Thanks all, I have a whole nother set of shots taken from inside the room (grin).

Yes, I did use the lightning trigger and just as an FYI, out of 212 shots, I got 12 usable ones. That thing is very sensitive! I would have loved to have scoped out a high spot, the keeper rate would have jumped dramatically.

Pete, I figure you were driving home in most of the fun stuff, that must have been a show!

Yeah, I thought about heading out west a bit, but I had to be up for an early shoot so I just called it a night. It was a good one though, lot's of lightning. The really big stuff rolled through by me around 0230 but as Evil said, the wind was a bit daunting. I stepped outside to see if I should open the garage and try some shots and quickly decided more sleep was a wiser choice on this night.....
