well, glorias probably closes fairly early, so not necessarily a good choice, but their food is good.

Mine were just suggestions. I googled north dallas restaurants and picked through a list looking for "unique". I'm with Dokk though in that I prefer cheaper!

Ok, how bout that mexican restaurant off greenville ave., um what's it called...bill, help me out. it's where the parade ended and the awards were taking place...near krispy kreme. its got a good atmosphere and parking shouldnt be a problem. just a thought. ive only eaten there once. still trying to think of other places though.

Ok, another suggestion. I dont know anything about this place, but I have heard the name quite a bit...Dick's Last Resort. I dont know where exactly it is located, so it might be too far south for north Dallas. I'm still looking.

My vote goes to Gloria's in Addison. A very good place. Inexpensive to less so. Even the soups are delicious.

Snuffer's in Addison or on Lower Greenville would be good.

Desperado's is what Leslie was thinking of. A good place. Maybe we go there or one of the places below soon. We haven't had anything over that way.

A block away is Ozona's with a huge patio. Both, and the ones below, are between Mockingbird and Lovers Lane, just east of Central.

Don't forget about Cafe Brazil on Central Expwy(US 75), same neighborhood? Open 24/7. Allso has a patio.

Or Cafe Express at Mockingbird and Central, open late, patio, good food and drinks.

(Dick's Last Resort is in the West End in downtown Dallas.)

Cafe Izmir is excellent but is definitely not a gtg place. More intimate, romantic atmosphere.

Glorias in Addison is fine with me. Their food is good and they have pupusas...yum! It's a good combination of Mexican/Central American cuisine. I havent been to the Addison one yet, just the original and the one out in Frisco. That would certainly be pretty close to my house...yeah!
