I'm going to a wedding in Emory in a couple of weeks and wonder if anyone has any suggestions or specifics about Lake Fork.

I'm mostly interested in birds.

Thanks...jn

I been there once searching for bald eagle somewhere in Jan, having no prior knowledges of that area and a rather short visiting. I returned with barely a few shots of nothing. I asked around and was told to drive the highway across the lake and might came accorss eagle soaring but gave up after a few rounds. The bottom of the dam were well gated and wired and most lake accessed area are privated owned or membership required.

Good luck

Now I like birds and at one time considered myself a birder, but I have to admit that every time I've ever been to Fork my mind has been on nothing but bass...big bass! I'm going next weekend in search of the lunker again.
