Tried to shoot every piece of artwork on the tunnel walls and even did some shots inside of the tunnel itself, may have to go back with a flash and tripod to reshoot some of the in tunnel shots.
I am cleaning up misc graffiti and other damages to some of the works so it will take some time to get them all posted to my Pbase Album, some are pretty much untouched while others have major work needed to clean them up. "Really a big old gray paint blotch on a monkeys face does nothing to help the pic along nor some someones initials sprayed on a work nor some of the other graffiti". Now there has been some graffiti added to works over the years that have worked well, the black dancers in front of the devil, the old guys commenting about the Angelina Jolie painting and a few other cases and those are being left as is though they were not part of the original works.
So while I was shooting a survey crew was working on the upper street/deck of the structure so I bet DART will be pulling this baby down before the summer is over.
Worth getting over there to at least grab some background that can be pasted into shots in the future or to document it.
