David
It seems you got the best of both worlds going. She knows you would have taken her to the expensive, sexy place, and you get to go somewhere cheaper...

Great wives are hard to come by, and harder to keep....

Have fun in Ft. Worth

John, you can bet I'd pay for that remark.......IF she knew about it. But like Captain Tom says, what happens on the forum stays on the forum and she ain't on this'un.....yet. Awsume website you have, John. Nice pics, too.

Tom, you're right about holding on to good spouses. We work at it all the time, for 23 years now. 2nd time around for both of us and it looks like it may work out.

Folks, I've enjoyed this thread and I appreciate all of y'alls input. Maybe we need a sticky on "Places to stay" for different areas. We'd probably have to break it down to "levels" like (a) "clean sheets and the A/C works" (b) "phone and coffee pot in room" .....on up to "Ambiance-$300 + a night." .......just a thought.

Thanks again,
~dp

Surprised no one mentioned the Bed and Breakfast at the Stockyards, Miss Mollie's. It has lots of "ambience". Set up on an 1860's theme, they have set it up as it might have been years ago when the site was an actual Bordello.
