Idea's for Studio shot - 06-01-2006, 03:27 PM

I think I'm going to be brave enough to rental a studio and shot some glamour photo's of a local model I found. I found a model willing to trade modeling for headshots. Additionally, I found a studio.

Now I need some help with idea's on things like backdrops, props and poses.

Any thoughts or have a place I should look for idea's?

Where did you find a studio?

The first and foremost idea is to make sure you have someone to go with you... you need to be escorted as much as she does.

first and foremost, what are the photos being used for? that will help you select your backdrop. Ex: I had a Firefighter submitting shots for a calandar. We kept it Simple and used seemless white paper and Used a Black chair. But for a female if she is having photos done to add to her portfolio for sensual portraits, You could always use silk or satin, Or used a red vibrant crushed velvet. Just a few ideas. I think Scott would really be able to help you more. heheh His photos are Incredible.
Basically you need to find out who the target audience will be and that will help you with poses, ad well as props and backgrounds.
