Plano Photography Studio....

Would like to know how many photographer's would use a Studio in W. Plano?

This would be between Plano Pkwy. and Legacy -- N.Tollway and Preston.

Several people have been discussing a studio with all new equipment, softboxs, Beauty Dish, Octaboxes, Reflectors, Bkgrounds, Lighting from 250w Hot Lights to 1600w Flash Units
and more.

Hmmmm...

That is literally in my neighborhood. Good luck on a lease rate. It's pretty pricey territory.

That sounds like a good area to have a studio... I would definitely be interested in utilizing it, and I imagine you will probably have plenty of local photogs out there that may want to rent it out on occasion.

It would obviously be a niche situation and not very profitable if you ask me. But you will build some clientele, the only thing is all the big ones are in D-town.

Thanks for the response. We are not necessarily looking for a profit but more to cover the cost for photographers in this area. All of us could offer more services with a studio available to use. A gathering place for great people, friendship and lots of knowledge.

i assume you are looking for partners to share the basic overhead etc. I have some interest, but I will be moving to fairview early next year. my choice is, therefore, to be closer to 75 in north plano. I bet rental rates are a lot less east of 75.

i did this a million years ago with a friend and it worked out well. but we only has two partners and one permenant renter. We chose a really yucky place in back of a business close to love field then and remodled the inside.
