I sent the pics of this takeoff to the pilot I know at VFA-201. . here was his reply. . .
Hey Keith,

That’s me in 211! I was taking off on my way to New Orleans for the first leg of many over the weekend. I saw a bunch of guys standing over there on White Settlement road and put in a big bank (along with a boot full of top rudder to keep from descending!).

I think Gruff was flying 212…I’ve forwarded it to him to see.

Dude, you scored! Great picture. I feel yout pain, I remember when they closed Hensly and sent them all to Cow Town. Never get to see any mil's anymore.
