Interested in a Lone Star Park outing?

I have contacted the offical photographer about a DFW TPF outing at the Lone Star Park Race Track. So I wanted to find out if anybody and how many are interested in attending such an event. I will start a poll for the best day for such an event but I would guess most would want the weekend.

I know our fearless leader, wife and a few others shot at the track not long ago. However I did not attend and I thought it would be a fin outing. Besides I have lived in Grand Prairie/Arlington area all but 2 years of my 35 years and have only been there once and not for a race.

So let's meet up and take some great photo's!

By the way I will add to this thread as I get more information from the staff photographer and when we get feedback here on the forums.

I think last year we did Wednesday evenings since there was so many fewer people

you maybe can do both if there is another interest ... some of us is not available during one or the other, like I am not usually available for the weekends

I would be interested in going also. Weekends would work better for me, but I could also do a weekday.

Weekday for me. Less people so we would probably be less of a imposition. I'd love to set up a remote too!

From the looks of the schedule they dont race on wed in july and the first race post time is 6:30 does that sound right ?? if it is id be up for a thur night or sunday

I think a Sunday would probably work best for everyone concerned...since a lot of folk do actually work duringthe week,including Saturday......Like me for instance...LOL

I voted Sunday.. But weekday evening works too.. Saturdays are not good.
