Race Track (Car) outing?

As I think through different types of images I would like to try to capture this is high on my list. I know there are several tracks however I have never been to a race. So I thought I would ask if somebody attends these types of races might be able to plan or help plan a TPF outing event?

I know it's a couple of months out but that would give you time to schedule.

Do you know how they treat photographers there? How far do we have to be away?

pay a vendor fee and you can get on the line lol otherwise you can shoot from anywhere and the crowd wont be too bad at FFW

Trey Capps is the event cooridnator ill find his number somewhere
but you can get great shots from teh stands also
