Outing with New Camera - 07-01-2006, 01:29 PM

Ok, I am new to dslr's. I got my Nikon D50 on Thurs and got out once to try and see what it can do. This is one of the better ones. I'm still learning the camera at this point but am very pleased with my purchase. This is the Trinity River across from from Radio Shack.

VERY nice! VERY nice! I love the colors. My monitor here at work is kind of dark so I cant really judge the photo other then that.

I tweaked the color a bit before I posted it so the real thing wasn't as good. Thanks for the feedback, I am really going to have fun once I get used to the new camera.

The one above is in front of the Amon Carter Museum. Then below is from the Trinity Levee above Greenway Park off I-35.

laurie,
another place for a Ft Worth Skyline view is the parking lot behind the medical professional building on Montgomery. The parking lot is on the east side of the building and slopes downhill sharply so there are no trees or buildings to block the view. You can also see Ft Worth Camera supply from the parking lot!
