Exclamation Short notice-need family group photo location - 07-04-2006, 04:03 PM

Denton Area - I've been contacted on very short notice for a location shoot for a family group shot. First location was a bust due to the location fee of $150 so they are budget limited. Group is about 8 people, mostly kids and the preference is outdoors. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The TWU campus is very nice, full of tress, flowers etc... At least it was last time I did a shoot there.

I know this is probably after your shoot. But for future, I use the park at the civic center often. This is at the corner of Bell and McKinney to the left of the center. They always have it looking great and I have several "spots" I move my subjects to. I heard through the grapevine that TWU now charges photographers to use the grounds.

Don't know the name of the place, but if you go west on Campbell from 75 and hang a right on Collins you'll find an awesome place less than 1 mile down the road on the left. You'll recognize it by seeing a whole bunch of trees. Make a left onto this street (don't remember the name - sorry), but they have a waterfall back there that is awesome.

This isn't the best picture in the world, but it gives you an idea.
